Environmental consultant

Requirements:

• Environmental engineering or other engineering or science degree
• Knowledge and application of current environmental laws
• At least 1 year of experience in environment protection at a production company/authority/environmental company, however, motivated new job market entrants are also welcome
• Category B driving license and a willingness to travel
• Active English skills
• Professional commitment, willingness to learn
• Customer-oriented and proactive work style, good communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail when preparing documentations
• Basic computer skills

Tasks:

• Provide environmental expert and consulting services to contracted partners
• Conduct and report on on-site environmental protection visits and inspections
• Draft and present training materials and presentations
• Manage air protection, waste and water management authorisation procedures, coordinate projects, prepare authorisation documentations
• Keep records on environmental protection, meet information and reporting obligations
• Support business partners in environmental management matters, liaise with competent authorities during authorisation procedures
• Organise and coordinate environmental measurements
• Participate in other environmental protection and sustainability projects

Advantages:

• Knowledge and experience in implementing and operating Management Systems according to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 45001 standards
• Knowledge and experience in OHS or fire safety
• Fluency in English
• Other knowledge and qualifications in the field of environmental protection and sustainability
